By giving ourselves trust, we set ourselves free

Hi Friends,

After 3 days of teacher training & 3 classes on Monday, I needed some time to recharge.

So, hereโ€™s a little mid-week reflection! ๐Ÿ’ซ

Today, Iโ€™m sitting by my window, looking out over a park filled with sunlit green pines. Maybe itโ€™s my Taurus rising, but the warm glow on those vibrant leaves is my favorite color. ๐Ÿ’•

This week has felt like a marathon of errands, classes, & planning, but today,
Iโ€™m savoring the gift of space & time.

Monday was toughโ€”I found myself on the phone with a friend, expressing my frustration about feeling stuck in certain areas of my life. She reminded me that growth takes space and time, a reminder I truly needed. ๐Ÿ™

As humans, we often feel the pressure to be "right"
โ€”to say the right thing, make the right choices, & find the right path.

Becoming a business owner intensified this desire more than ever,
& Iโ€™ve had to learn itโ€™s okay to not get it right all the time.

Trusting myself has never been easy, but this journey has challenged me to strengthen that relationship.
This week, I faced a tough decision & wrestled with the urge to make the "right" choice.
I created pros & cons lists, consulted friends, & ultimately realized that it was about more than just the decision itself.
It was about trusting myself. ๐Ÿ’ซ

We practice yoga for many reasons, including building strengthโ€”physical, emotional, & mental.
Trust is like a muscle we've been training our whole lives, & itโ€™s more powerful than we often realize.
When we cultivate trust within ourselves, we not only grow stronger but also gain power, vitality, & freedom.

What if we replaced the need to be right with trust?
Imagine a life with less second-guessing, self-doubt, & hesitation.

When we face injuries, recovery starts with repairing the foundation.
In the case of letting go of the need to be right, self-trust is that foundation.

After some time to rest & reflect, I realized I have a strong foundation,
support around me, & that my desire to be right doesnโ€™t have to overshadow my self-trust.

I invite you to extend a little more trust to yourself.
You donโ€™t have to get it right all the time.
Thereโ€™s often magic in our mistakes, & no one has all the answers anyways.

What could giving up the need to be right create space for in your life? ๐Ÿ’–
