Have you noticed? The mornings are starting to get cold. Some leaves are starting to turn warmer shades, and every store is filled with the smell of cinnamon.
Yep, it's starting. Change.
Take a moment to think of child's pose— if it’s possible come into child's pose for a few breaths.
What words, thoughts, or feelings come to mind? What’s present for you in this pose?
Supported, held, surrender, stillness, balance. These are some words and experiences that happen for me in Balasana (child’s pose).
There are stories and symbolism about child’s pose, and for me, it resonates with the intention of surrender or release. Surrender and release are great teacher during change.
You wouldn’t hold your breath in fear you’d never breath again, but that’s how life feels sometimes, right? Like if we let go even a little bit we will never get “it."
Some times of change are harder than others, and if it's challenging now, consider a mental/physical/emotional child's pose.
Pause. Land. Rest. Reset. These are the moments for you to let go, receive, and be guided through the flow of life.
Sweat with you soon, Lucy
“Is what you are holding on to taking all of your energy? Are your hands clenched, your body tight, and your soul strained?
Whether it is in the realm of your job, your family dynamic, or your romantic relationship, know that just because something is important to us, does not mean we have to control it by attaching stress, worry, and anxiety to it.
Let go.
Let what is meant to be…be. What is meant for us flows freely in harmony with us, not against us.”
